You're right Irene, Pampers do have a slight scent, but it is much more "baby" smelling than Luvs, which just smells gross. I haven't had a chance to use cloth diapers yet, but I've read good things about bumkins and bum genius. A friend of mine is using the Tidee Didee diaper service and it seems to be working really well for her. If you like the Seventh generation diapers you should give Nature Babycare a try, too. We had really good luck with them.

I prefer cloth diapers, but when they weren't an option (traveling) I love to use the seventh gen. diapers. They hold a ton and are soft.
For me, it seems like Pampers always had a certain smell to them even the ones that weren't supposed to have a scent. I can't stand Luvs and don't understand gDiapers- why not just use disposable?
Just my two cents!
Great post though- I wish someone did this years ago.

Pampers all the way. Started with Swaddlers ended at Cruisers. Love them. Great leakage protection, flexible (doesn't stretch out like Luvs), and soft.
